NETBALL MILESTONE

24 May 2018 by Zara Pearson

This Season we have welcomed back Trinity Keath to the club who this week plays her 150th game for EFNC.
Trin has always loved netball, and she came to the club when she was in her senior years of study at St Joseph’s.

As a young player Trin looked up to Penny Reinehr as a goaler and was so excited to play at the same club and learn from her. Playing under Jenny Dwyer was also special to Trin, she really enjoyed Jen as a coach, a mentor, and a friend.

Trin played her first season in the A grade side in 1997 before heading off to University in 1998. After three years of living the Uni life she returned to the club for the 2001 season. Then in 2002 she was off again, this time to Darwin to live for a few years. She returned home for the 2005 season and settled in like she never left and played in the A Grade side until 2010.

The 2006 season was a highlight, not only because she was playing with Flash, Shagga, Stevo & Connells !! but also being named the 2006 joint B&F with Steph O’Niall. The honour of winning the Jude Haw Memorial Trophy was a very proud moment for Trin, and is still now a great memory. Jude was Wendy ‘s (Trin’s Mum) dearest friend and a very special person in Trin’s life so that night was very emotional for her family. She also played in an A grade Grand Final side in this time which although not winning, the experience was amazing.

In 2011 Trin was off to the West to live and has returned to the club this year with her two beautiful little girls Luca and Elke. EFNC is her second home and the fact that her two little daughters are now on the side of the court every week watching their mum play is very special.

Above all her netballing achievements, Trin has enjoyed the most wonderful sisterhood at EFNC. She has developed amazing friendships with so many wonderful girls, friendships that will sustain them throughout their lives. They started together as teenagers and now still playing as young mums, still competitive and still enjoying it.

Trin is a goaler who is always consistent and has a steadying effect on her team. She has loved the competitiveness of Goulburn Valley Netball and has enjoyed tremendous times with the Murray Bombers.

We are so lucky to have you back around the club Trin and congratulate you on this milestone.
