NETBALL MILESTONE

31 Aug 2018 by Zara Pearson

This week we celebrate and congratulate Casey Frame on playing 50 games with the Murray Bombers.
Swan Hill is where Casey started her netball career moving to Ballarat for University she joined the Lakers in the VFL. After winning an impressive 4 Premierships, a League Best & Fairest and numerous Club Best & Fairests Casey made the move to teach at Echuca Anglican Grammar and played for 2 seasons at Lockington with her old mate Amy Halloran.
Casey joined our club in 2015 bringing with her knowledge and experience which has been invaluable to our players.
Casey played the 2015 & 2016 season in the A grade side only to suffer a cruel ACL injury during the A grade side’s 2016 finals campaign.
The 2017 season saw Casey on the sidelines but true to her commitment and love of the game Casey took on the A Grade Coaching role.
This year Casey is back on the netball court and has shown why she is a respected player. She is loved by her teammates for her talk, direction and selfless play. Her natural ability to read the play and set up her teammates is amazing to watch.
Casey has also, this season been the inaugural coach of the Under 15’s team which has joined the competition this year. We as a club couldn’t have asked for a better role model and mentor for these young ladies. Along with her heavy commitment on the courts this year Casey is also on the Football Club Committee.
Although we celebrate your 50 games this weekend Casey we acknowledge that you have also given our club so much more.
